Get ready for the return of the State Tournament series in 2025!
The series did not run in 2024 as we attended the Budosai in Okinawa, but it is back bigger and better than ever. Various competitions will be running in each state as we aim to find our State Champions to go through to the National Finals in Wollongong in November 2025.

The 2025 National Gasshuku will be held over three days at the Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort NSW. This incredible facility has its main hall covered in martial arts mats and is on the beach. You have the opportunity to eat, stay and train on the beach in this beautiful coastal city!
The event will be headed by Sensei Joe Roses - 8th Dan Chief Instructor. He will be assisted by Sensei David Lambert (5th Dan) and other Dojo instructors from across Australia. We are pleased to welcome Sensei Jorge Monteiro Jr (4th Dan) from Portugal to this event as a special guest instructor.
As part of the Gasshuku the AOGKF will also host its National Tournament Finals on Saturday followed by our annual Karate Party Dinner.
